Hello everyone!

My name is Iny Hwang and this is going to be a blog about living in South Korea as an intercultural family based on my own experience.  Certain things such as marriage paperwork can be quite daunting, but I am happy to show you how to manage it.

저는 황이니입니다.
황슨(Hwang+Hanson) 블로그는 미국인 남편과 결혼생활을 하며 겪는 일들,,,
예를 들면, 미국인 배우자와 혼인신고나 비자 바꿀때의 어려움을 느껴  
모든 서류 작업들을 어떻게 했는지 공유하고 제 일상을 기록하려 만들었어요. ;)

First, let me introduce my family!  
This is my husband, Michael.  He is from Minnesota, USA and has lived in Korea for over five years.  We met in 2012 and were married in August 2014.  

제 남편 마이클은 미국 미네소타 출신입니다,
한국에 5년정도 살았고 저희는 2012년에 만나서 
2014년 8월 9일에 결혼했어요.  

We have a cat named Maggie!  He was born on May 11, 2015 in Jeonju, South Korea and we adopted him when he was 2 months old. He is a male cat, but he is named Maggie because it is short for Magpie, which is both a common bird here in Korea as well as the name of one of our favorite bars :)    He is well-behaved and usually very sweet!

아들 매기를 소개할게요, 
이름때문에 암고양인줄 아시는데 매기는 맥파이, 까치에서 따온 이름이예요 저희 커플이 자주 가는 맥주바 이름이기도 합니다 ;) 
집에서 귀여움을 맡고 있어요 호호호
